FEES IN GENERAL

1. FEES FOR THE REGISTRATION / RE – REGISTRATION CONTRACTUAL ETC. TRANSFER / MORTGAGE ETC

(excluding passenger ships)

-  For every gross ton up to	5,000 grt	£0.10 cents
-  For every gross ton over	5,000 - 10,000 grt	£0.08 cents
-  For every gross ton over	10,000 grt	£0.04 cents
-  (Minimum fee CYP125.00)
-  (Maximum fee CYP3,000.00)

For passenger ships the fees are CYP0.15 cents per every grt (with a minimum fee of CYP250.00)

The fees for a three month extension of the provisional registration are one half of the above fees.

2. ANNUAL TONNAGE TAX (excluding passenger ships)

CYP100.00 plus

- for vessels up to	1,600 grt	£0.26 per every grt
- for vessels grt over	1,600 – 10,000	£0.16 per every grt
- for every gross ton over	10,000 – 50,000	£0.06 per every grt
- for every gross ton over	50,000	£0.04 per every grt

the above rates are multiplied by the corresponding rate as follows:

AGE OF SHIP	RATES
Up to 10 years by	0.75
11 up to 20 years by	1.00
Over 20 years	1.30

For passenger ships the fees are twice as much.

The above fees are reduced

By 30% if the technical management and crewing of the vessel is carried out by a Cypriot or EU Shipmanagement company operating in Cyprus

3. FEES PAID FOR THE TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP (CONTRACTUAL OR OTHER LEGAL CAUSE), FOR THE NEW REGISTRATION, AND REGISTRATION AND TRANSFER OF MORTGAGE.

-  For every grt up to 10,000	£0.02 cents
-  For every additional ton over 10,000 tons	£0.01 cents
-  (Minimum fees paid CYP30.00



4. FEES FOR A RADIO LICENCE ARE:

installation fee        CYP10.00

annual fees              CYP10.00

5. FEES FOR THE INSPECTION OF VESSELS ON SHIPOWNERS REQUEST FOR THE ISSUANCE OF INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATES:

a. For the issuance of a carving note (for every visit on boat)
   CYP10.00

b. For the issuance of a Load Line Certificate

-  for vessels of	150 - 499 grt	CYP 400.00
-  for vessels of	500 - 4999 grt	CYP 600.00
-  for vessels of	5000 - 49999 grt	CYP 800.00
-  for vessels of	50000 and over	CYP 1,000.00


For the annual inspection of the load line the fees are twice of the above rates.

c.  For the issuance of a Safety Construction and/or Safety Equipment

-  for vessels of	500 - 4999 grt	CYP 400.00
-  for vessels of	5000 - 49999 grt	CYP 500.00
-  for vessels of	50,000 and over	CYP 600.00

For the annual inspection of vessels for ascertaining safety construction or safety equipment the fees are 50% of the above rates.

d. For the issuance of a Radio telephone/Radio telegraph Certificate the fees are CYP150.00.

e. For the prevention of pollution the fees are:

-  for tankers up to	4999 grt	CYP 300.00
-  for tankers up to	5000 - 49999 grt	CYP 400.00
-  for tankers up to	10,000 and over	CYP 500.00
-  for cargo ships the corresponding fees are 50% of the above fees -  for the annual inspection the fees payable are 50% of above fees.

f. For suitability for transportation of chemicals or danger cargoes CYP1,000.00

g. For the safety of passenger vessels:

up to 499 grt	CYP 250.00
500 grt and over	CYP 1,000.00


h. Certificate of Safety of Cargo vessels under 500 grt CYP100.00
    For the above inspections the actual traveling expenses, daily wage and above maintenance expenses of the
   office are also payable.
